Hey guys! Its been so so long since I sat down and wrote something. Been stuck with college and career decisions. I hope I make it through 😅 How’re you all doing? This summers was a true representation of how summers should like, I think. Bright colors, comeback of trends and beach ready outfits. Let me take you through some that I indulged in.
Neon could not be more huge than how it had been all of this season. Runways went crazy with it and influencers even crazier. I loved how a ton of people paired it with rather unusual pieces and made great outfits. One of the most seen combinations was neon green with khaki color bottoms. I personally have never been more hesitan to try a trend, I didn’t even plan to venture into it. Just one fine day, a neon top at Zara caught my attention and I had to get it because of how simple and non-flashy it looked. And boy, neon is not that scary guys. Its just a little brighter so toning down the rest of the outfit works for styling it for casual days. All sorts of neon colors are out there from greens, yellows, pinks and oranges. Go get some and add color to your wardrobe this summers.
Flowy dresses + lavender + hair clips
What if I show you how I styled three huge trends in one look? The first is flowy summer dresses, slip dresses to floral ones. This is the easy breezy outfit of all time. Just wear a simple slip dress and accessorize with good layered neck pieces for an ultra smooth and comfy summer outfit. I love adding layers so I am wearing a lavender top that this dress came with to give it that chic american girl look. Loved how comfortable yet summery this outfit was.
The second element is the color. Lavender has been the talk since a year almost but still has people’s heart. I love how subtle the lavender in the dress is but the top adds the punch of color. Lavender is a truly beautiful color that would suit almost everyone if worn right. Go guys, venture into a new color!
The third part is THE trend this season, its hair clips and barettes. From pearl ones to marble effect ones. All kind of funky and cute clips and hairdos made me drool this entire season. If you ever loved cute hairdos from the 90s, this is your time to shine. While there are some classy ones available in the market that might cost a buck. You can just visit your local market to pick up some cute clips. I got these marble effect cute clips from my local stores. Not all fashion needs to be expensive. Be experimental and change up your look with some trendy clips. I just pinned one side of my hair and kept it simple.
Snake Print ( Animal Print )
Animal print is here and not leaving any sooner. This trend has lasted the hurricane that swifts away almost all trends when the season changes. While I have talked about the Cheetah Print. This time I experimented with the snake print. Got this one from Shein and if you also are looking for animal print, I think Shein is the place to go. I paired it with my basic cullotes and brown toned makeup to keep the look aligned. Its a bold trend but something that will add that punch to your outfit. Go for any patterns you like. For an everyday look, keep it casual with jeans and sneakers. For a dressier look, you can try dresses and pants with snake print. As much I have seen, I believe snake print looks really good on Indian skin. So don’t shy away, and try it.
I hope you guys liked this little post. Just wanted to get back to writing. More coming up soon. Xoxo
